How did Mom It Forward Media partner with Animal Jam?​

            Highlights:

 

Animal Jam partnered with Mom It Forward for a series of campaigns including a live event in Utah, a #gno Twitter party and word-of-mouth marketing to promote the game. For the promotion, giveaways were done through blog posts and social media updates. Animal Jam also sponsored a Family Forward event at the Living Planet Aquarium. 
 

Objectives:

 

The goal of this campaign was to create buzz about the online game "Animal Jam" and educate parents about the learning element of the game and how there are offline resources that they could use with their kids. Another goal of the campaign was for parents to teach their kids about the natural world through "Animal Jam" videos, facts, and games.

For the live event, bloggers were required to take photos of their family whilst at the Living Planet Aquarium to be posted on Instagram and tweet about the experience while using the designated campaign hashtag.

This campaign with "Animal Jam" required two posts on the Mom It Forward blog that featured the giveaway, brand information, and updates for the Twitter party. Mom It Forward also promoted the Twitter party via Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Google+.

The Twitter party was held on May 27,2014 with brand panelists and moderators from the Mom It Forward team. It was an hour-long of discussion of online parental control, #SafePlay, and tips about dealing with modern educational tools, like "Animal Jam" and other online apps/ games.

The live event held at the Living Planet Aquarium was held in July 2014. Bloggers went with their families and were treated to free tickets and a presentation from a guest speaker from National Geographic.

 

Results:

 

The Twitter party for the campaign was successful and the participants were engaged in the topic, with the questions and the exchange of opinions via Twitter. The brand was able to achieve it's goal of creating buzz and excitement about their online game.  The live event was also a success, following positive feedbacks from bloggers quoting the experience to be educational, fun and the entire experience to have gone beyond their expectations.
