Highlights:
Mom It Forward partnered with NetZero to promote their products and services through a blog tour and database blitz campaign. For the blog tour, nine bloggers were chosen to participate each having to write a review of the product and feature product information. This campaign held a giveaway for the readers and received a total of 6,247 entries. The database blitz campaign was participated by 111 bloggers who collectively produced a monthly UVM per Google Analytics of 2,229,094.
Objectives:
The goal of the campaign was to have the bloggers spread the word about the NetZero 4G mobile broadband, highlight its features, speed options, and subscription plans. Bloggers were also required to write a genuine review of the product and how the device helped them to stay connected wherever they were in the country. The giveaway of this campaign was $800 worth of products/services that included the 4G mobile broadband device and a 1-year free subscription. The bloggers also promoted their posts through social media platforms.
Details:
Nine bloggers for the blog tour campaign were sent the NetZero 4G Mobile broadband for them to test and write a review. The blog tour was done a month prior to Christmas season when people would be making their way to their hometowns and wishing they could take their internet connection with them.
Both the database blitz and blog tourbloggers were required to share how the device had a fast and secure connection with availability in over 80 cities in the country and that NetZero also offered monthly-based, hassle-free subscription plans to their customers – no activation fees, no contracts, and no hidden charges. Bloggers promoted the product through their blog posts and social media updates.
Results:
Bloggers who participated in this campaign wrote positive reviews that resulted in more buzz for the brand, and thus achieving their goals for the campaign. The awesome giveaway sealed the deal.
