How did Mom It Forward Media partner with VSP Vision Care?​

            Highlights:

 

Wondering how you can take care of your vision and help a child in need of vision care? Mom It Forward partnered with VSP Vision Care on three blog tour campaigns throughout 2015. Each campaign has a unique feature but all on the primary topic of vision care. 62 bloggers in total actively participated in the campaign which produced 8,705,471 UVM per Google Analytics.  For every purchase of vision insurance plance, a child in need receives a free eye exam and glasses.

 

Objectives:

 

Mom It Forward partnered with VSP Vision Care on three blog tour campaigns throughout 2015. The first two blog tours were focused on raising awareness for the #EyeGiveBack initiative. As part of the #EyeGiveBack campaign, when people purchased a vision insurance plan as a gift through December 31, 2015, VSP donated an eye exam and a pair of glasses to a child in need, up to a total retail value of over $100,000.

 

As part of each blog tour, bloggers were required to write a blog post, as well as promote the blog post via Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter.

 

Details:

 

The bloggers is required to write and publish a post in their assigned published week. As part of the requirement, the must have a need or know someone who needs vision insurance. 

 

Every purchase of vision insurance plance, a child in need receives a free eye exam and glasses.

 

Results:

 

Was this campaign successful? Yes. Why was it successfu? The campaign was very unique and refreshing not only to the bloggers but also to their readers. it’s like hitting two birds with one stone: get the chance to inform the public and a chance to help a child in need for a visual care.

The third blog tour had a slightly different approach since it focused on eyewear fashion. The bloggers were required to write a post, create a fashionable/pin-worthy look, and promote the post/image on their social media accounts. Here are the stats for this portion of the campaign:
